What we do at our corporate R&D center

At our corporate R&D center, we aim to lead the way to the future with our research efforts. We prioritize the environment, safety, and respect for humanity as we develop new technologies and products to return the benefits to society.
We develop key technologies to be better prepared to compete in the market. With our continued R&D activities and expansion of the R&D infrastructure, we aim to make the highest-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.
Especially in the fields of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, we studied metal surface treatment technologies to develop products that could be used across industries while we led the commercialization and capitalization of surface treatment agents.
Also, we developed the marking powder, which is needed for laser cutting, for the first time in South Korea and now account for more than 70% of the market share. We also continue our research efforts in deodorants, disinfectants, masks, and other environmentally-friendly products.
Our corporate R&D center makes R&D and testing achievements based on our experience and knowledge with a view to developing into a specialized R&D center with a total solution to innovate traditional production methods.
