Chunwoo Tech Co., Ltd. is ....

Since our foundation in 2001 as a chemical company, Chunwoo Tech Co., Ltd. developed and marketed the previously import-dependent plasma-cutting zinc powder in South Korea. We also developed CW-R2, which is an environmentally-friendly passivation agent for stainless steel, to have its patent registered both in South Korea and the world and provide safer working environments while standardizing passivation jobs. This allowed us to be recognized for our technology as a material supplier for Hyundai Heavy Industries, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, Samsung Heavy Industries, and Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, along with other small and medium-sized shipyards. We also developed CW-AL, which is an aluminum pickling agent, as a part of our policy to prioritize safety and quality.

In addition, we have been selected as the beneficiary of the LNG-specialized environmentally-friendly shipbuilding materials technology support program, which will further assist our development as a specialized company.
Currently, we have three factories (Daebul Factory, Noksan Factory, and Chunwoo Plant) and provide our services in the work facilities of Samsung Heavy Industries, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, Seongdong Shipbuilding & Maritime Engineering, and Samkang M&T. As for our overseas projects, we successfully completed Doosan’s desalination project in Vietnam and provided our cooperation and R&D efforts on a continuous basis with regard to the power generator project for Hyundai E&C in Vietnam.
